Meet the Team

  • Jennifer Jamrog, DO

Board Certified Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Physician

Dr. Jamrog is a board-certified Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine physician with training in regenerative therapies, integrative pain management, and functional medicine. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, she grew up surrounded by the arts, movement, and diverse approaches to health—an early influence that shaped her lifelong interest in human performance, mind–body wellness, and patient-centered healing.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by residency training in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident and taught medical students in hands-on osteopathic diagnosis and treatment.

With training in women’s functional medicine, integrative and regenerative medicine, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, ozone therapy, neural therapy and perineural injection therapy, Dr. Jamrog brings an uncommon depth of training to her work at Wayfinder. Her clinical philosophy reflects the osteopathic belief that the body is a unified, self-regulating system capable of adaptation and healing. She integrates hands-on treatment, lifestyle and nutritional strategies, and functional restorative medicine—helping patients reduce pain, restore movement, and build long-term resilience.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Jamrog enjoys the Montana outdoors and traveling with her family.

  • Austin Johnston, DO

Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he grew up accompanying his grandfather—a primary care physician—through clinic visits and hospital rounds. Those experiences—watching his grandfather care for neighbors with both skill and sincerity—shaped a lifelong respect for patient-centered medicine and the responsibility that comes with independent practice.

Dr. Johnston and his wife created Wayfinder Integrative Health and Physiatry to restore a model of care that is precise, personal, and grounded in the osteopathic philosophy that the body is unified, adaptive, and capable of self-healing. His clinical approach blends advanced diagnostics with the principles of allostasis and hormesis—helping patients rebuild strength, restore function, and navigate injury with clarity and confidence.

Dr. Johnston earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a liberal arts institution where he also received a scholarship to play football. He went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he met his wife, Dr. Jennifer Jamrog. Following graduation, he completed an allopathic residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Montana in 2017 and spent eight years practicing at the local medical center before founding Wayfinder.

Dr. Johnston’s clinical expertise includes electrodiagnostic testing (NCS/EMG), ultrasound-guided injection therapy, botulinum toxin treatment for spasticity, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy for soft-tissue, bone, and nerve-related injuries.
